Hi, I'm Claire. I'm an integrative counsellor and a member of the BACP and COSCA. I'm experienced in working online with both individuals and couples. I offer a reduced fee for students and those on a low income. I also provide a free 20 min consultation for us to find out if we're a good fit.

About me and my practice
When life and relationship problems overwhelm us, it can be hard to find a way through. It often feels like no-one understands what its like to be you. These are all natural responses, but often we feel deep guilt or shame for feeling the way we do. Whether we are feeling sad, angry, confused, depressed, anxious, hopeless, or even completely numb, it's not a sign of weakness when we reach out for help. It's actually very brave, and is our first step towards changing things for the better.
I welcome you to come and share your story in a safe, confidential space. I'll listen without judgement, and together we can look for a way forward. I use an integrative approach. This means I have a wide range of counselling techniques and tools which I can tailor to suit your needs. I'm client led, so you will never feel pressured to go anywhere you're not ready to go.
Someone once said, A friend will give you sugar. A counsellor will give you brown rice.
I hope to challenge your thinking, but I will always soften the rice and serve it to you gently!
